was established in 1988 as EOMLab (Electronic and Optical Materials Laboratory) and has been one of top leading research groups. The present research topics include sustainable energy sources, including nano generators, piezoelectric energy harvesters and fuel cells; Electro Active Polymer (EAP) materials and devices; photocatalytic water splitting; and water and electric power system design for developing world.
MaSTLab has published 242 SCI journal papers; 35 domestic journal papers; 45 international and domestic patents; and 9 books.
MaSTLab consists of 4 doctoral course students; 1 master course students; and one administration staff at present. More than 60 outstanding alumni were graduated from MaSTLab. Among them, 4 teach in the university; 7 work in the national laboratories; 42 work in the various companies; 3 work in the foreign universities, national laboratories and companies. We have contributed the human resources as well as the R&D efforts of scientific and engineering society.
